Children’s Performing Arts will host Saturday drop-in theater sessions from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every other Saturday beginning on Saturday, Jan. 14 and ending on Saturday, May 20. There will be different activities offered to three different age groups: kindergarten and first grade, second and third grade, and fourth and fifth grade. The activities offered to each participant will be focused on facilitating their interest in theater. The young students will read books and craft while the older students will get to learn the basics of performing and storytelling.
Each week’s program will have a theatrical theme for attendees to immerse themselves in.
The drop-in model will allow participants to choose which dates work for their schedule without committing to a several-week program.
